Just before the highly anticipated FIWARE Global Summit on June 12-13, we have another remarkable event coming your way! Get ready for the ViennaUP’23 startup festival organized by Vienna Business Agency, set to take place in the vibrant city of Vienna.
For nine days, from 30 May to 7 June, Vienna will be the venue for the ViennaUP’23 startup festival. And the event will be really big: more than 10,000 visitors from over 70 nations are expected, and more than 200 investors have already announced their attendance.
Unlike comparable festivals, ViennaUP’23 brings together the local startup community, reinforced by European programme partners, under one roof. The result: more than 30 partners organise around 50 events with a wide-ranging programme. This makes ViennaUP unique in Europe, perhaps even in the whole world.
The events focus on social entrepreneurship, sustainability, female business leaders, responsible use of the latest technological solutions and creative industries – addressing target groups such as investors, technology experts, founders and established organisations as well as people who care about solutions for climate protection and sustainable growth.
ViennaUP’23 is Austria’s largest and Europe’s most diverse startup festival and takes place in Vienna at 27 different locations in 12 districts. The central meeting point and networking station for all visitors throughout the entire festival is the ViennaUP Homebase in the middle of Vienna’s Karlsplatz. Live events such as pitches or workshops will take place at the homebase, as well as social gatherings and catering with Viennese delicacies.
