This session at the Global Summit explores the impact and opportunities of Data and Open Source technology in the Americas, specifically Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC). Emphasizing the support for the green transition on mobility and the need for strategic alliances with business, the private sector, think tanks, academia, and public administrations, the session showcases the growing presence of FIWARE in LATAM with a case in Colombia on transport and growing opportunities for the FIWARE Ecosystem to grow in LATAM with the regional initiative BELLA II(Building the Europe Link to Latin America and the Caribbean) We will also show how collaboration has been possible across borders with FIWARE Space in Argentina.
