Feb 15, 2018Opportunities

Challenge IoT is an initiative launched by FIWARE Zone. Present in the cities of Malaga and Sevilla, it is at the moment the highest ranked FIWARE iHub (3 stars). With the Challenge IoT, FIWARE Zone is aiming to push the development of projects of excellence, within strategic environments and targeting real problems.

To match these objectives, FIWARE Zone is searching for public administrations that can detect and present an actual problem that should be resolved within any of the following areas: Smart Cities, Smart Ports, Smart Logistics, Industry 4.0, Smart Agrifood or eHealth.

This second edition will consist of two phases. In phase one, FIWARE Zone will choose up to two challenges, promoted by the partnering public administrations. In the second phase, companies and entrepreneurs from Andalusia will play an active role, solving one of the proposed challenges using FIWARE technology.

The winning projects will have the chance of developing their solutions with the help of the challengers. The FIWARE Zone initiative will provide funding and support to deploy pilot projects within the appointed geographical scope.

The first phase is open to all public administrations of Andalusia, and will close on March 2nd. The call for the second phase will open afterwards, and will welcome companies and entrepreneurs from the whole region.

Any administration or public corporation wanting to take part in this second edition of the Challenge IoT should download and fill this form and send it to fiware.zone@fiware.zone
