Creative Ring Challenge results in 19 projects who will receive support from CreatiFI and cities in Europe

Apr 25, 2016

CreatiFI is proud to announce the 19 winners of its Creative Ring Challenge. These entrepreneurs will receive up to 25,000 Euro in funding to further develop their projects over the coming few months.

The Creative Ring Challenge took place simultaneously in Barcelona, Ghent, Eindhoven, Brussels, Helsinki and Trentino. Each of the hubs identified a theme in which they were looking for solution to implement in their city environment.

Cities are in a constant state of flux and often their available infrastructure and solutions no longer fit the proper needs in this eternally evolving society. Museums and cultural institutions are also hungry for creative, ICT and mobile solutions, and the Creative Ring Challenge wants to reward innovative entrepreneurs  that are ready to offer smart services and solution.

Selected projects get access to the resources of CreatiFI and start developing their application with FIWARE technology. They will work closely together with their local creative hub to test and implement their project in an urban environment.

The winners in the different challenges are:
