Ciudades del Futuro FIWARE iHub, the first institution in Argentina and the third in Latin America to join the network of #FIWAREiHubs, invites you to the November dissemination webinar of the FIWARE platform, the last webinar of the 2022!
On this occasion, the case of La Lonja de la Innovación will be known, an initiative of the Port Authority of Huelva (Andalusia, Spain) together with Telefónica, and identified as the first global Ihub FIWARE within the port logistics sector. Also known as La Lonja Tech, it focuses on open innovation and on identifying the best technological solutions that solve the challenges of the port community, and among its objectives we highlight the drive to bring innovation from startups to the sector, promote collaboration between entrepreneurs and entities in the sector to innovate and increase the competitiveness of the port.
The experience in the Port of Huelva will be shared, and the ways to face the challenges of technological innovation in the port sector. Among other issues, it will be known how to work on the creation of spaces to house technology-based companies that can provide solutions to port operational problems, using FIWARE technology so that all companies speak the same language.
👨🏽💻 During this event, we will have Karen Vega, from the FIWARE Foundation, as a special moderator, who will explain the role of the Foundation in Europe and Latam. Then, Rocío Díaz Pereira, Director of La Lonja de la Innovación, of the Huelva Port Authority, responsible for the first accelerator that bets on FIWARE technology in the logistics-port vertical worldwide, will speak. At the end of the dissertations there will be a space for questions.
📆 The appointment will be on Thursday, November 24, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay, 9:00 a.m. in Peru and Colombia, 3:00 p.m. in the Canary Islands and at 4:00 p.m. CET via Zoom. The FIWARE platform allows the integration of data and information sources of different natures, offering companies and destination managers the necessary information for decision-making. The FIWARE Experiences for LATAM cycle has the objective of contributing to the dissemination of different innovative and use cases of Fiware technologies in Spanish and their possibility of application in our region.
